Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARETE WIEBE (nee HAGEN) After a long struggle with Alzheimers disease, Margarete gently passed away on October 16, 2004 at the Beacon Hill Lodge. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wayne Hagen (Michelle), Veronica Ducharme (Joseph) and Darlene Nixon (Don) grandchildren, Beverly, Tabatha, Jolyn, Jason, Crystal and Matthew; great-grandchildren, August, Zoe, Decland and Caelyn. A heart felt thank you goes to Nurse Paloma, Nurse Margaret and aid Lynda for their compassion and love during this difficult time. Margarete was born in Pirmasens Germany on April 17, 1936. At 18 she immigrated to Canada and became a citizen in 1969. Margarete has lived across Canada from Nova Scotia to British Columbia and made Winnipeg her permanent home in 1973. She was a caring, loving mother who dedicated her life to her three children. Margarete will be remembered by her family and friends for her faith, love of dogs, arts and crafts and sense of humour. Flowers are gratefully declined, but donations can be made on Margaretes behalf to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St. Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. In compliance with Margaretes wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
