ALBERT G. BARKMAN Mr. Albert G. Barkman, aged 82 years, of Whitemouth, MB, dearly beloved husband of Clara Rosalee, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2004 at the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, MB. Besides his wife Clara Rosalee, he is survived by his sons, Bruce (Alicia), Murray (Nancy), Brian (Wanda) daughters, Sandra (Ray Toews), Donna (Henry Fehr) and daughters-in-law, Phyllis Barkman and Corene and Keith Antle; 29 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank and Irene, Leonard and Nancy, Louis and Kathleen, John and Jean, Peter and Ethel; sisters, Gladys and Roy Goossen, Joyce and Walter Friesen; one sister-in-law Eleanor Barkman; also many nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Annie; and sons, Wes and Monroe; brother Art; and his parents, Peter and Lena Barkman; and step-mother Susie. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of God in Christ (Mennonite), Whitemouth with Ministers Ed Friesen and Franklin Penner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Warren Barkman, Cameron Barkman, Keith Barkman, Duane Barkman, Lance Toews, Brent Barkman and Darcy Wohlgemuth. Viewing will be held on Monday, October 18 from 7:00 p.m. with a devotional service at 7:30 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour.
