LORRAINE NORA DESROCHERS (nee LAPOINTE) Lorraine left us on October 16, 2004 at 63 years of age. Peacefully and with her family by her side she went to join others gone before her. Left to cherish her memory are: her beloved husband Roger; sons, Kerry, Tim (Lori), Dale, Darcy; and her very special angel her most beloved daughter Tammy (Wally) grandchildren, Mike (Marissa), Dan (Natalie), Crystal. She was predeceased by her parents, Abraham and Blanche and her brother Norman. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. at Thomson "In The Park" 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Patrick Morand officiating. Interment to follow in Haywood, MB. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit. We would like to express our gratitude for the kindness and compassion extended to both Lorraine and her family by the extraordinary staff of this unit. Mom, you will be sadly missed by all. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vital Roman Catholic Parish Church, Pembina Hwy. at Manahan with interment to follow in the Haywood Cemetery, Haywood, MB.
