Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySIGRUN LILLIAN KELLEY (nee ANDERSON) Sigrun Kelley passed away peacefully on October 14, 2004. Sig was born October 24, 1929 in Baldur, MB to her parents, Sigurdur and Hansina Anderson. She was predeceased by her brother Andres Anderson (Ruth) and her twin sister Margaret Parsonage (Jack). Sig is survived by her husband of 49 years Alan; her children, Dan, Pat (Venessa), Mike (Linda), Allison (Dan) and Chris (Randi) six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. They all loved her very much and will dearly miss her. Upon completing high school in Baldur she moved to Winnipeg where she completed her education as a registered nurse. She moved west to work at Vancouver General Hospital as well as in California for a year. Sig met Al in 1952 and they were married in 1955. Sig led an active life and was involved in many community activities such as volunteering with the Fraser Canyon Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Hope Ladies Golf Club and the Canadian Cancer Society. She loved her family dearly and greatly enjoyed being a wife and mother, raising her children and maintaining the family home. Special thanks to Dr. Murakami and all the staff at the Fraser Canyon Hospital and Fraser Hope Lodge for providing Sig with a wonderful and caring environment during her last few months. A celebration of Sigs life will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21 at the Legion Hall, 344 Fort St., Hope, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fraser Canyon Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, PO Box 933, Hope, BC V0X 1L0.
