  • I’ve thought of you, Mr. T many many times over the years. I know it’s late in years to write a tribute as you passed so long ago. Sadly internet and searches were not really available to me before you died. I would have loved to let you know the difference you made in my life. Varennes was a safe place. Your classroom even more so. You were kind and encouraged dreams. For that I am ever grateful. You were my first art commission. It took a long time to finish that painting. I had such a hard time with perspective, hey … I was 12. Your commissioning that painting told me I mattered, that I was valued. This excluded misfit saw possibilities. I went on to hone that talent in later years. Mr T. if you’re listening, you made a huge difference in my life. Thank you. - Posted by: Diane Trudeau (Former student 1970’s) on: Sep 05, 2021
