Muriel gave me a cookbook when we were neighbours. I have enjoyed reading her recipes and the thoughts contained within. John and Muriel would travel to the southern states in the winter months and bring back some wonderfully sweet oranges and grapefruits to share. I regret never popping in to see her and John after I moved away from Merriam Blvd. somewhere after 1992-3. I would love to hear from family or friends of their last few years. Thank-you. - Posted by: Ray Renooy (Next door neighbour in the 1980's ) on: Oct 22, 2014
