ERNA CETKOVSKI (nee GOETZ) January 26, 1915 - October 20, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother at the age of 89. Erna was born in Rhein, Sk., and in her mid teens moved with the family to Rosewood, Mb. With her husband Carl, she moved to the Springfield area where they farmed near Lydiatt and later near Transcona. After leaving the farm she resided in the East Kildonan area. Erna was predeceased by her loving husband Carl in May 1958; parents George and Magdalena Goetz; stepmother Pauline; brothers Alex, George, Irvin and their spouses. She will be sadly missed by her children, Lee (Ralph) Frederiksen and Ed (Elsie) Cetkovski, 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nursing staff at Concordia Hospital for their care and thoughtfulness. Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct 25 at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy #1 East at Navin Road. Viewing will commence at 1:30 followed by the service at 2:00. Pastor R. Kruesel officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
