LIONEL FRANK ONIL BENOIT Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 20, 2004, Frank Benoit passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 79 years, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Connie; sons Frank Jr. (Debbie), Glenn (Tara), Jim (Cheryl) Ronnie (Andrea), Kenny and Raymond; daughters Susan, Denise (Bob), Darlene (Danny), Yvonne (Harvey), Audrey (Kerry) and Annette (Randy) 32 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Joe, Maurice and Serge also numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters and one brother. Frank worked for the City of Winnipeg for 32 years. Frank enjoyed life to the fullest. He especially enjoyed his family, wrestling and Lawrence Welk music. Dad loved his family very much and will be forever loved and missed by his wife and family. Dad was wonderful and generous man. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of MICU at Health Sciences Centre for their care and support. Prayers will be said on Monday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Franks memory to CancerCare Manitoba. You were always there when we needed you No task too great or small With a loving heart and a willing hand For us you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, We only pray when you left us You knew how much we cared.
