JO-ANNE DI LALLO (nee GAGNON) Peacefully, with members of her family at her side, Jo-Anne passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the age of 37. Jo-Anne was predeceased by her infant son, Angelo and sister-in-law Theresa Gagnon. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband John; daughter Christina and son Vinny; her parents, Martial (Butch) and Irene Gagnon; her brothers, Gerald Gagnon of Sioux Narrows, Gilles (Suzanne) Gagnon and Bob Gagnon of Winnipeg; her sisters, Elaine (Arni) Popplestone, Lynne McLean and Suzanne (Scott) McLean, all of Pilot Mound. Also mourning her passing are her parents-in-law, John and Barbara Di Lallo; sisters-in-law, Lori (Garth) Stevenson, Donna (Terry) Topham and Joann Di Lallo (Loretta Chubaty), all of Winnipeg, as well as many other family members, numerous friends and former colleagues. Jo-Anne was born in Winnipeg on July 11, 1967, and attended school in St. Boniface graduating from Pierre Radisson Collegiate. For the past seven years, Jo-Anne had been battling cancer. Throughout her illness, she was a model of strength and determination. She maintained her dignity and a positive outlook as the illness progressed. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Jo-Annes CancerCare nurse, Lori Lavigne for her support and compassion throughout her illness. A memorial service celebrating Jo-Annes life will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jo-Annes memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
