Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREINHARD NETZEL January 27, 1929 - October 20, 2004 75 years of age It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our father and opa after 5 years of illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Hulda and Julius and brother Leo. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife Olga, the love of his life. He leaves to mourn his passing, his son Rolf (Deb Slevin) and daughter Sylvia Hultman (Alan) and his grandchildren, Ashley and Adam Hultman, whom he adored and who adored him. Before his illness, Dad was a larger-than-life figure. He was vital and energetic and always on the go with a million ideas. He loved the business world, but he also loved art, films, music, antiques, poetry, swimming, walking, cooking and gardening. He was very much a "Renaissance" man: well-rounded, well-spoken and not only interesting, but very much interested in whomever he came in contact with. He was known for his generosity, kind compassionate spirit and sense of humour. You gave us such wonderful memories, Dad, which we will cherish forever, and may you now rest in Gods loving hands, reunited with Mom. The celebration service of his life will be held on Monday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in the family plot. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., R3L 0K6 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, #102 - 310 Broadway Avenue, R3C 0S6. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J. COUTU LTD. 680 Archibald Street 253-5086
