MYRTLE BERNICE BOND (nee ALBRIGHT) Bernice Bond, formerly of Winnipeg passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, MB on October 24, 2004. She was born in Emerson, MB on October 16, 1915, daughter of Harold Ludlow and Stella Albright. She was predeceased by her dear husband Frank; her parents; her brothers, Bill, Gordon and Dana; as well as many others of her family and her friends. Bernice graduated from Brandon College and later earned her Masters of Education degree from the University of Manitoba. She taught in several schools before coming to Kelvin High in Winnipeg and was asked to transfer to Chrischill High School when it opened later. There she worked for many years as a well-known and beloved Sr. English teacher until her retirement in 1975. She will long be remembered by her sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and their families. We wish to thank the caregivers at Stony Plains Personal Care Unit for brightening the last years of her life with their cheerful kindness and caring, and also the Beausejour Hospital for their help and concern. The Lord lift up His countenance upon her and give her peace.
