JOHN (JACK) EVOY On October 23, 2004, aged 88, passed away suddenly after a brief illness. He was predeceased in 1996 by Lil, his loving wife for 58 years. He is survived by his family, daughter Gale and Ken Whiteside and their family; Jay (Kimberly Cork) Whiteside and their daughter Payton Cork, and Kathleen Whiteside; son Lloyd and Marcia Evoy and their family, Elizabeth Bound and her children, Justin, Morgan and Meagan Bound; and other caring family, friends and neighbours. Dad will be most greatly missed by his dearest friend Marie and dog Bunny. Dad was born and lived his entire life in Winnipeg, excepting his six years service in the Second World War. Dad was inventive and handy. He enjoyed golfing, curling and bowling and particularly loved to watch a good boxing match. His greatest loss came in 1997 with the passing of his wife Lil. His health slowly declined but with the support of family, dear friends, neighbours, and Home Care (Shirley in particular) he was able to remain in his home. Cremation has taken place with a brief memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 30, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
