FLORENCE HELENA ROSLER (nee BRUNSKILL) February 7, 1917 - October 25, 2004 Florence passed away peacefully at the Grace General Hospital on Monday, October 25, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence; and her sisters, Dorothy and Violet. She is survived by her son Ron Rosler (Sandra) daughter Merrilynn (Dick) Scott; beloved grandson Ryan Rosler; brother Tom (Della) Brunskill; and Dave Mann. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Florence was born and raised in Stockholm, SK. She met Clarence who was from Dubuc, SK and the Second World War took the couple to Hamilton, ON, where they were married on September 6, 1941. Following the war, they moved to Winnipeg where they raised their family. On top of raising her family, Florence worked for the Hudsons Bay Company for a time. Florence was a longtime member of the St. James Legion, Branch No. 4. Florence will be remembered for her vibrant and fun loving nature. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for the special care given to Florence during her stay there. Friends so wishing may make a donation in Florences memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home.
