HARRY SILVERMAN On October 24, 2004, Harry Silverman passed away suddenly at his home. He was 86. Harry is survived by his wife of 58 years Maussie; his sons Burle (Vivian), Richard (Jo) and Neil (Shirley) and his grandsons Jeff and Josh. He is also survived by his older brother Syd of London, ON and his little sister Jeannie of Everett, Washington as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Harry was born in Canora, SK and raised in Selkirk, MB. He entered the Air Force and trained as an aircraft electrician in The Second World War. After an honourable discharge, Harry became an electrician and subsequently became involved in electrical sales. Harry was a longtime member of The General Monash Legion. After retirement, Harry enjoyed his family and travelling. He was a kind man. His family and friends will miss him greatly. Services were held at The Chesed Shel Emes on October 26. Interment followed at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
