Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY BAILEY 1912 - 2004 It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of Mary Bailey on October 25, 2004 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her parents, Arnt and Minnie Grini; her brother Ole Grini; and her husband Owen Bailey. Mary will be sadly missed by her sister Margit Cubbidge; cousin Edna Crowther; sister-in-law Rita Grini; nieces, Linda Cubbidge, Corolie Rear, Verna Bolton, Pat Campbell; and nephews, Tony Cubbidge, Dennis Bailey and James Bailey. Mary was born in Winnipeg on April 29, 1912. As a young girl in 1928 she was baptized into the Christadelphian faith which became an important part of her life. In 1944 she married Owen and they spent 56 happy years together. They took great pleasure in vacationing each year at Daytona Beach, FL where they enjoyed long walks along the beach. Family and friends would eagerly await their postcards with updates of their travels. Since 2000, Mary resided at Poseidon Care Centre. She particularly liked the little park in the courtyard and the home cooked meals. The family would like to thank all the staff of Poseidon for their loving care of Mary while she lived there. We will all miss her sweet smile that could charm the sun to shine on a cloudy day. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with Joe Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Marys memory to a charity of ones choice. THOMSON "IN THE PARK" FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY 1291 McGillivray Blvd. - 204-925-1120
