BESSIE FLACK Bessie passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband Ira; daughter Mildred; grandson Anthony; and her ten brothers and sisters. Bessie is survived by her daughters, Mabel, Olive (Don), and Rena (Peter) nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Bessie lived her early adult life in Swan Lake where she and her husband farmed. They moved to Winnipeg (Woodhaven) in 1951 where she lived the rest of her life. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 3:00 p.m. meeting at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will take place during the hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Bessies memory.
