MARGARET ELLEN CASSIDY With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing at age 88, of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Margaret Ellen Cassidy on October 27, 2004. Margaret (Nanny) will be greatly missed by her sons, Jim and Richard; daughters-in-law, Lynn and Edwina; grandchildren, Kelly, Cory, Darby and Tara (Peter) her only great grandchild Anikka; sister Nikki McIvor (Diz) and her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Earl; her brothers, Art and Gus; and her sisters, Nora, Anna and Maude. Among other talents, Margaret was an excellent seamstress and spent a great deal of enjoyable time making and donating crafts to various charitable organizations. She will always be remembered for her generosity. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the Grace Hospital Nursing and Support Staff for the compassion and care extended to Margaret and themselves. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue (entrance on Aubrey Street) with viewing at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
