SHAUN PATRICK DENNEHY July 18, 1947 - October 21, 2004 Born in Winnipeg to Dodie and Gerry Dennehy (deceased), the eldest of six children. Shauns wife Susan; sons, Quinn and Keenan; his sister DArcy; his brothers, Kerry, Timothy, Regan and Clancy; his extended family and friends will miss him dearly. Shaun was a passionate person. Passionate about family, friends, the north where he lived and worked most of his life, surveying which was more of a vocation than a job, his annual chicken and duck hunt in Manitoba with his longtime friends, beautiful Victoria Beach where he spent summers as a boy, old suburbans, the game of scrabble and golf. Mike Weir never had a more loyal fan. Shaun didnt let his illness stop him from pursuing his passions. He hunted past the point anyone thought possible, he spent his last summer at Victoria Beach surveying, and in hospital he continued to watch golf on TV, and play scrabble with his mother. To the end he maintained his sense of humour, his most endearing quality. A celebration of his life will be held in Winnipeg in July 2005.
