GORDON CHARLES ALBERT HARVEY Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer; it is with our deepest sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Charles Harvey on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. at Riverview Health Centre. Gordon passed away with his wife Irene by his side at the age of 75 years. Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife Irene of 53 years of marriage; daughters, Ellen (Bill) and Venetia (Ron) sons, Denis (Betty-Anne) and Marcel (Barbara) 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister Venetia and brother Gilbert (Charlotte), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sons Gordon and Darwin, his brother Glenn and his parents. For those who wish, public visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, November 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Lutheran Church of The Cross, 560 Arlington St. Gordons funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning, November 3 at 10:00 a.m., also in the church with Pastor Dr. Frank Bahr officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Honorary pallbearers will be Gordons grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Vincent Atamanchuk, John Paul LaVallee, Dale Harvey, Christopher Harvey, Jim Partaker and Melvin Guiboche. Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at both the Grace Hospital and Riverview Health Centre. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gordons memory to Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
