Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY THOMAS JOYCE November 17, 1925- October 27, 2004 It is with profound sorrow that the family regrets to announce the passing of Stanley Thomas Joyce at the Health Sciences Centre on October 27, 2004. Seven weeks earlier, Stanley laid to rest, Joyce, his beloved wife and best friend of 55 years. His gentleness, compassion, wisdom, respect, and infinite capacity for love are reflected in his eulogy to her: "I remember, My Love, when our day was new; I remember too, the brilliance of the sun. Then again, I remember when it glistened silver gray when touching your hair, and all the years between, with their floating memories of our life. They are a part of me as is a heartbeat. I see you in the morning, at evenings close and dream a lost dream of you, My Love. I loved you our whole life through and I shall love you into my last breath. Farewell Sweetheart." This was a true love story. The radiance, energy, love and beauty Stanley and Joyce brought to this world leave us with a legacy for which we will feel eternally privileged and grateful. Stanley leaves behind his loving daughter, Barbara and son-in-law Garry Hawryluk; loving daughter Deborah; precious grandchildren, Jaimie (Warren), Graham, Kelsey, and Christopher, as well as sister Alice Knox and brother Ted Joyce. The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to extended family members, the condo family, and good friends who have offered support and compassion throughout the difficult time of Stanleys final weeks. We wish to thank in particular Dr. Harris, CancerCare, 3 West and Emergency at the Grace Hospital, as well as ICU, Dialysis and A4 at the Health Sciences Centre. While the staff caring for Stanley are too numerous to mention, special appreciation is sent to Catarina for helping all of us in his final hours. In accordance with his wishes, there will be a private family internment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
