FRIEDA (WETTSTEIN) SCHLEGEL Peacefully, on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at the age of 76, Frieda passed away at home, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by daughters, Helga Nikkel, Elfie Harvey (Alan) sons, John Wettstein (Monika), Carl Wettstein (Sherry) grandchildren, Steve and Tim Nikkel, Marissa and Taran Harvey, Chris Wettstein (Nancy), Danelle and Laura Wettstein; two brothers and five sisters. She is also survived by her second husband Harry Schlegel and his family. Her first husband Christian Wettstein predeceased her on October 26, 1980. The family wishes to thank Dr. T. Babick, and also the Palliative Care Team for their excellent care and compassion. Special thanks to our Aunt Alma for her loving care of our mother throughout her illness. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, November 2 at Klassen Funeral Home, with interment in Green Acres Cemetery.
