PAULINE LITCHIE (nee ZARETSKI) Peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2004 at the Beausejour Health Centre, Pauline passed away at the age of 89 years. Pauline is survived by Paul, her loving husband of 71 years; son Bud (Barbara) daughters, Virginia (Vic) Marusyk and Kathy (Richard) Gower; grandchildren, Darlene, Joanne, Brenda, Matthew, Lauressa, Joshua, Daniel, Lucas, Robert (Joanne), Laurie (Hans), Richard (MiJung), Lynn, Lance (Gillianne) and Clint; great-grandchildren, Natasha, Victor, Lexie, Mikayla and Lynn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers and three sisters. Pauline was born on January 28, 1915 in Cooks Creek and spent her life in the area. She took great pride in her garden and flowers and she will always be remembered for her perogies, holupchi, doughnuts and lemon pies. She enjoyed her crafts which she lovingly shared with family and friends. Pauline was a longtime member of the Pine Ridge Ladies Club and the Cooks Creek Seniors Club. Prayers will be held on Monday, November 1, at 7:00 p.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 2, at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB.
