IRIS VIOLET CROCKER 1959 - 2004 (nee RESKE) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Iris Violet Crocker on November 1, 2004 at the age of 44. Iris was born December 14, 1959 in Beausejour, MB. Iris will be deeply missed by her husband Richard; daughter Ashley; father Emil Reske and partner Pauline; sister Lorraine Walc (Tony) brothers, Richard Reske (Crystal) and Donny Reske; her mother-in-law Rose Elizabeth Crocker; brother-in-law Brent; sisters-in-law, Lana, Colista and Melinda and their families. She was predeceased by her mother Violet Reske 1984 and brother Ron 1967. Iris will always be remembered as a very strong, loving and caring person. She enjoyed spending time with her family, relatives and friends. Iris was employed with The Workers Compensation Board for 25 years until her illness in February, 2003. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and served as a secretary for a short while at her daughters Day Care Centre. Iris received support from so many loving and caring people. The visits, phone calls, the fund raising event held in her name for the Cancer Society, cards, flowers, scrapbooks and albums were very much appreciated. Iris wanted all of you to know that she was overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. The family would like to say a special thank you to her dear friend Julie Robertson and her loving cousin Janice Hnatiuk for spending countless hours with Iris and for always being there for her. Also thanks to Dr. Dabrowska and Lori; Dr. Daeninck and Tracy at the St. Boniface Hospital and all the nurses of the WRHA Nursing Unit, especially Maryanne. A Memorial Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with a Memorial Service on Thursday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Don Engel officiating. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Iriss memory to the Cancer Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
