DENNIS HIEBERT It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis, with his family by his side, after a brief but courageous encounter with cancer, on October 31, 2004 at the age of 52. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jacqui and children, Warren, Bryan (Canmore, AB), Scott (Jennifer) and Chris; as well as his brothers and sisters, Wes (Lucy), Viv (Bill), Vic (Jan), Vern (Darlene), Jim (Ina), Liz (Dave), Frank (Cindey), Kathy (Ron) and Steve (Jerrie) and many wonderful nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Bill Hiebert (1993) and Leona Hiebert (1996). Dennis was born on November 3, 1951 in Winkler, MB and grew up in Fort Garry with his parents, sister and three brothers. Dennis love of the outdoors started early with camping trips with his family. Dennis passed his love on to his boys as he taught them all to fish and enjoy what nature has to offer. Favourite memories always included camping, fishing and spending time with his family. Recently, Dennis enjoyed a fishing trip to Crow Duck Lake with his sons, which he cherished greatly. Dennis found his soul mate when he met Jacqui and his love for her is everlasting. After their boys grew up, Dennis and Jacqui loved their warm holidays to escape the cold winters and enjoy their time together. Dennis had the most generous spirit and was always helping his boys, family, many friends and even strangers fix anything. Dennis always put those family, friends and strangers ahead of himself and through the past few months he was the strength for all of us. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of their friends for their strength and support, as well as the many caring nurses, doctors and additional staff of Health Sciences Centre - Ward GD6, CancerCare, Beausejour Hospital and the North Eastman Health Authority. A memorial service in honor of Dennis life will be held on Thursday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis memory, if friends so desire, may be made to Ward GD-6, Health Sciences Centre, 700 William Ave., R3E 0Z3, CancerCare Manitoba, ON 109-675 McDermot Ave., R3E 0V9, or the Make a Wish Foundation. "We love you Dennis. Your spirit will live on forever in all of us." KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson - North of McIvor - 925-1120
