Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH LEDINGHAM It is with deep sorrow that the family of Edith Ledingham announce her passing on Sunday, October 31, 2004 at the Victoria Hospital. Edith was predeceased by her husband Mel; sisters, May Cheyne, Mary Phillips, Margaret McLachlan, Dorothy Brook and brother Hugh Tait. She is survived by nieces, Wilma Deakin, Dorothy Kukelko (Yorkton, SK) Margaret McLachlan; nephews, George McLachlan, Allan Brook (Calgary, AB) Jack and Jim Tait (Saskatoon, SK) and several great nieces and nephews. Edith was born in 1913 and spent her childhood in Winnipeg. She married Mel in 1943 and they moved to Moncton, NB, Ottawa, ON, and then back to Winnipeg in 1975. She worked with Revenue Canada in the Income Tax Department for many years. Some of her enjoyments in life were her beautiful petit point pictures and knitting. She resided at The Waverley for three years, where she enjoyed many new special friends. In accordance with Ediths wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
