CASEY JOHN KANSAS It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Casey John Kansas on Monday, November 1, 2004 at the age of 56. Casey was predeceased by his father John Grabowiecki, who shared many hunting trips with Casey and his brother Brian. Casey will be lovingly remembered by his mother Mary Pardoski (Grabowiecki) and stepfather Stan Pardoski; one brother Brian Grabowiecki (Pat) sister Carol Giardino (John) and three nephews, T.J., Adam and Bryan; one stepbrother Dennis Pardoski (Janice) one stepsister Debbie Iskierski (Henry) and four stepnephews, Bobby, Nick, Dean and Mark; two stepnieces, Jennifer and Monica. Casey was born in Vita, MB, raised on a farm in Carlowrie, MB. He graduated Valedictorian from St. Malo High School. He then joined the R.C.A.F. and after six years he was given a medical discharge for Type 1 Diabetes. He then pursed a career in advertising with the Winnipeg Tribune, The Edmonton Herald and then the Winnipeg Free Press. Casey enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, wood working and lets not forget his amazing inventive ideas. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park", 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Health Sciences Centre.
