Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAGMAR EVELYN FERGUSON (nee GUSTAFSON) With great sadness the family announces Dagmars death on Monday, November 1, 2004. Dearly loved wife of the late Alex Ferguson. She is survived and sorrowfully missed by daughter Shelagh and husband Russell Holt; and daughter-in-law Marilyn Ferguson; along with her beloved grandchildren, Pamela and Tamara Ferguson, Kristen Aarron and Bryan Holt. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Sigrid Gustafson; and her husband Alex Ferguson and son David Ferguson. She was born in Winnipeg on December 15, 1909. She worked as a milliner for Eatons. She married Alex Ferguson, a banker, and spent her life in various towns around Manitoba until they moved to Minnedosa in 1947 and were there until Alex passed away in 1985 and Dagmar moved up to her daughters a few years later. In 2000 she moved into Crocus Court Personal Care Home in Roblin, MB. In Minnedosa she was an active member of St. Marks Club, life member of Eastern Star, life member of both the Minnedosa Ladies Curling and Golf Clubs and also the Wasagaming Ladies Golf club. She was also the longest serving member of the Lodge Strinberg #259 of the Vasa Order, beginning as a member in 1928. One of the loves of her life was their cottage at Clear Lake which was their second home. The family wishes to thank the staff of Crocus Court Personal Care Home for their outstanding care and respect to Dagmar. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Marks Anglican Church in Minnedosa, MB. Interment will follow in the Family Plot in Winnipeg at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in her memory may be made to the Minnedosa Foundation, Minnedosa, MB R0J 1E0, or to a charity of your choice.
