MICHAEL RYBAK On Sunday, October 31, 2004 Michael Rybak passed away at the Holy Family Nursing Home. Michael leaves to mourn his passing, sisters, Mary Felewich, Rose Zadorozny, Sophie Pawlyshyn and Elizabeth Kith; sister-in-law Nellie Rybak; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Justina in 1991; parents, George and Paraskevia; brothers, Stephen and John; sisters, Anne Rozeck and Catherine Grande. Michael was born on September 21, 1913 in Prawda, MB. He attended Stony Hill School. He lived on the farm later moving to Winnipeg. He worked for Acme Sash and Doer for many years retiring at age 65. He was a member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral from the time he moved to Winnipeg. His love for the church showed in many years of dedicated service. He married Justina Boyko in 1965, they were married for 26 years. His hobbies were wood working, making violins, gardening and especially his love for growing flowers. He will be dearly missed by all. Panakhyda will be sung on Thursday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 114 McGregor St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. also at the cathedral. Rev. Fr. M. Kouts officiating. Interment All Saints Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for all the love and care extended to Michael.
