Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK WILLIAM WICKHAM It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden and peaceful death of Fred Wickham at Etobicoke General Hospital, Toronto on Monday, November 1, 2004 in his 91st year. Cherished husband of Audrey (nee Brown) for 53 years; father of Dan (Christine), Bart (wife Peggy), Debbie (husband Sergio), and Trevor (wife Laura) grandfather to Todd, Cory (wife Amanda), Jaime (fiance Rob), Bartley, Sonny, Dustin, Carly and Lilli; great-grandfather to Jessie and Zoe. Fred is survived by his loving sisters, Jean Little of Brussels, ON and Muriel Mushumanski of Winnipeg, MB. He is predeceased by first wife Irene (nee Boles) of Deloraine, MB and by sister Ruby Sloan of London, ON. Fred spent 41 years with the Federal Department of Agriculture (Poultry Division) in Winnipeg, Regina and Toronto and after retiring at age 62, established A & F Wickham Consultants, acting as a liaison between government and the food industry until his 85th year. He also served in the RCAF from 1941 to 1946 as a Lancaster pilot and as a flight instructor, attaining the rank of Squadron Leader (Acting). In addition to his wartime medals, Fred was also awarded the Queens Commemorative Medal in 1977. At Freds request, a memorial service for family members only will be held on Friday, November 5.
