ELLEN CURR (nee WALLACE) Died peacefully on November 3, 2004 at Misericordia Place, Winnipeg. Ellen was born in Winnipeg on October 13, 1914. After graduating from St. Johns High School she attended Success Business College. Was employed by Northern Lakes Fisheries from 1936 to 1971; then by the International Inn in the Accounting Department until her retirement in 1985. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Alex Curr in 1977; her father James Wallace in 1980; and her mother Bridget Wallace in 1961. She is survived by cousins here and in Scotland. Ellen was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church. Ellen was a member of the Vimy Lawn Bowling Club and of the Iowaka Ladies Five Pin Bowling Club and the Uptown Ladies Five Pin Bowling Club. At Ellens request there will not be a service. She will be buried in Brookside Cemetery beside her husband.
