Mom was forever kind, giving, and her outgoing personality will be sadly missed. She touched us all with her warm heart and love of life. Mom was a very hard working and successful businesswoman in our community, being self-employed after jointly starting Family Florist & Handicrafts in 1982 with a dear friend. Mom became sole owner in 1991 and continued to build Family Florist into a household name, respected for the great work and strong reputation of her skills and love of floristry. Mom also drove school bus for the River East School Division for nine years, and owned a cleaning business for seven years. Mom retired in late 2000 but continued on a part-time basis in the floral industry because she couldnt say no to anyone; she also continued decorating halls for special occasions. Moms happiest times were going to her birthplace Roblin, MB to visit her family. Mom enjoyed playing Bingo with friends, and spending time with her Aunt Elizabeth. Moms great joy in life was watching her grandchildren grow up, enjoying her beautiful home, attending rodeos with Dad, supporting the Blue Bombers and especially their trip to Texas. The Eastman family wish to thank the 3rd Floor Nursing Unit at Concordia Hospital, especially Tesfom, Mary-Ann, Suzanne, Linda and Pat. We also wish to thank all of Moms dear friends and relatives for their support. A celebration of Moms life will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 11:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with reception to follow and a later interment to her resting place at Glen Eden. Darling Deanna, Mom, Amma, you will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for everything you did for us and for your love. We are, and always will be so proud of you. May you rest peacefully among the roses and in Gods hands. Life will never be the same without you. KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson - North of McIvor - 925-1120
