JOZEF HYNEK Peacefully, following a courageous battle with cancer, Jozef Hynek passed away on Friday, November 5, 2004 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Lydia (Leokadia) daughters, Teresa (Sal), Elizabeth and Sophia (Dean) grandchildren, Keenan and Kayla; numerous brothers, sisters, extended family, friends; and his four legged pal, Brandy. He was predeceased by his sister in Poland and his son-in-law Kevin in 2002. Dad worked as a welder and retired from Pioneer Electric in 1988. He enjoyed his retirement at the cottage, gardening and puttering in his tool shed. We will fondly remember the times dad took us skating, tobogganing and to the beach as children and how much he enjoyed playing the harmonica for his grandson Keenan. The family would like to thank palliative home care and to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital for their care and support. Prayers will be held on Sunday, November 7 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. "We Love you Dad" CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
