LUCY RUBIN Lucy Rubin ,our dear sweet mother, baba, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunty and friend, passed away at age 90 on Thursday November 4, 2004. This remarkable lady is greatly missed by her family: Charles, Jerry, Fern, Carolyn, Wendy, Brent, Stephen, Shannon, Josh, Zak, Claire, Carrie, Dana, Jean-Luc, Aimee, Danielle, Sam, Makenna, Kiera, Honey Frank and Joanne Rosenbaum. Her caring, selfless and sociable nature generated a lifetime of fond memories for her many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased by her brother Abe Rosenbaum and her sisters Eva Winestock and Sally Gelfond. Lucys much beloved husband Sam passed away in 1987. These two love birds had a truly wonderful life together, filled for 47 years with a love for each other that can only be envied. Their feelings towards each other touched everyone around them and seeing how they interacted will be with us, to inspire us, always. We were all truly blessed by having been loved by her. She taught us how to be strong and how to be tender. She taught us by the way she lived her life and how she loved us all every day of our lives. She encouraged us by her words and deeds to look for the positive and to put the needs of others before our own. We will miss you daily; your presence, your love, your smile, your compassion. We will love you forever. Thank you for a wonderful life well lived Everyone loved Lucy.
