Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD JOHN OSADICK 1937 - 2004 On November 6, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side, we lost our beloved husband, dad and grandpa at the age of 67. Donald was born on June 20, 1937 in Winnipeg, MB. He grew up in East Kildonan and attended Prince Edward School. Don began his career at Hignell Printers and later at Duha Printers. In 1957, he married the love of his life, Helen, and raised three wonderful children. Don had the love for the outdoors especially spending time with this wife, children and grandchildren at his cottage in Spruce Sands. He also enjoyed coaching his children in all sports. He enjoyed watching his children play in multiple sports and also his grandchildren. In his early years, he enjoyed volunteering time at Glenlee Community Club and later with the St. Vital Victorias. He will be greatly missed by his wife Helen of 47 years; children, Debbie (Bill), Donald Jr. (Laurie), Brian (Patti) his grandchildren, Tyler, Kaleigh, Brody, Christine and Matthew; his sister Sharon (Ron) his brother-in-law Walter (Lynn) his mother-in-law Teenie Worosz; many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and lifelong friends. Don was predeceased by his granddaughter Ashlyn Oshadick, father John and his mother Jean Osadick, and grandpa Joseph Worosz. Cremation has already taken place and celebration of his life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., on Wednesday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Donald to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The family would like to thank Dr. Erhard, Dr. Tan, and Dr. Louridas and the staff of the sixth floor A south at the St. Boniface Hospital. Your presence is what I miss, but your memory I will treasure, loving you is for always and forgetting you, I will never. I love you, I will miss you...Your memory will last in my heart forever.
