NELLIE STOROZUK On Saturday, November 6, 2004, Nellie Storozuk died peacefully at Fred Douglas Lodge. Nellie leaves to mourn, her sons, Walter (Cecilia) and John; grandchildren, Lorrie, Leonard (Heather), Jodie (Erick - nicknamed Ted by Baba), Robert, Cherie (Random), Wendy; great-grandchildren, Madison, Hailey, Alexa, Alyssa; sisters, Ann (Smeraldo), Doreen (William) brother Bill (Gerry) many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Peter; brother John; sisters, Rose and Doris. Born on the farm in Arbakka, MB, her journey through life was not an easy one. The good Lord blessed her through it all with good health, a loving family and many friends. In 1950, the family moved to the city after the flood. Her life included work, religion and bingo on Saturday nights. She will be missed at Fred Douglas for her take charge personality. We would like to thank the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for their love and care. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 12 at Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor of St. Mary the Protectress, 820 Burrows Ave., with Rev. Fr. J.S. Buciora officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
