DANIEL GILBERT WILDE After a courageous battle with cancer, he died peacefully, with his family by his side at the Pine Falls Hospital. Daniel Wilde aged 70 years of Great Falls, MB. He is gone to be with the Lord. He will be greatly missed by his wife Bernice Wilde; daughters, Shelley Vincent (Mike), Cynthia Flanagan (Kenneth) grandchildren, Melissa, Cassandra, Kaelyn, Garrett and Stacey; as well as his sister Velma Sims and many family and loyal friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father Margaret and Oscar Wilde; his brother Edwin Wilde and sister Lucelle Wilde. Daniel was a very loving, caring husband and father and always put them before himself. He worked for Manitoba Hydro for 37 years and retired in 1989. He continued farming which he loved. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play hockey and soccer. He also loved watching his daughter and granddaughter show horses and made many friends. He enjoyed being with people and having long conversations on the telephone. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held on Wednesday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. from the Great Falls Community Hall, Great Falls, MB. The family wishes to thank the Staff of the Pine Falls Hospital for their excellent care and compassion and would also like to thank the Nursing Staff and Dr. Denses at the Selkirk Hospital and the Nurses and Staff at the Concordia Hospital and to Dr. Harris and all of his friends and family for their care and support.
