Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT DOUGLAS McLAREN 1944 - 2004 It is with great sadness Roberts family announces his passing on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Health Sciences. He left us peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness. Bob is survived by his sisters Marjorie (Stuart) and Carol (William) sisters-in-law Lily and Betty; his beloved dog Mike; son Andrew (Marnie). He was predeceased by his beloved wife Judith; parents Charles and Issabel; brothers Charles and Bruce. Bob was born January 23, 1944 in Winnipeg where he spent most of his life and married his beloved Judy. His son Andy was born in 1979. He worked as a civilian in the Department of National Defence in the roads and grounds department. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing and gardening. He also shared a special connection with animals. Bob was a true sportsman. The virtues he taught in sport, honesty, integrity, hard work and fair play were exemplified by him in his daily life. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. We the family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for their kind and compassionate care.
