GLADYS SWAYZIE Peacefully, in her sleep, Gladys passed away at Golden West Centennial Lodge on November 7, 2004. Gladys was born October 20, 1916 in Morden, MB. She spent her childhood days in Purvis, MB. On December 4, 1932 she married her late husband, John Swayzie and they moved to Crystal City, MB. Gladys is also survived by her sister Marcella Edkins, 16 grandchildren, 31 great grand-children. Brother Donald McQuat and two grandchildren have predeceased her. Gladys was employed at Crystal City Hospital for many years until illness made her retire in 1976. She had a love for life, but most important was her family first before anything else including herself. The family would like to thank Golden West Centennial Lodge for the care of our mother. Funeral to be held at the Crystal City United Church, in Crystal City, MB. on Friday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. Grahams Funeral Home, Pilot Mound in care of arrangements. A heart of gold stopped beating Hard working hands went to rest God took you home to prove to us He only takes the best You lived your life for those you loved Your children taught and grown He called to you to come and dwell Where no more work is known Where the Golden Sun doth never set And the sky is forever blue Its there we hope in Gods good time Dear Mom to be with you
