Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBILL PLETT Wilhelm "Bill" Plett, 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7, 2004, at . Bill was born in Landmark, MB, on October 23, 1940, to Peter A. Plett and Margaret (Reimer) Plett. His early years were spent on the family farm in Landmark, MB. On April 16, 1961, he married Irene Toews. His occupation and source of pride was that of a successful commercial construction contractor. He loved his work and the sports in which he participated till his last days. As a young man, Bill played football with the Landmark Flying Dutchmen and later in life came to enjoy both curling and golf. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Irene. His children and grandchildren will also miss him very much as he was their favourite storyteller, champion and supporter of whatever they did. Bill is survived by his wife Irene, his son Michael (Debbie) daughter Cheryl Reimer; his daughter Deborah (Ben) Koop; and his grandchildren, Devin, Nicholas, Amara, Brianna, Perry, Jonathan, Carmen, Shaylyn, Geoffrey and Madeline. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter A. Plett and Margaret Reimer Plett, and parents-in-law, Edward A. Toews and Anna Reimer Toews. The funeral service will be conducted at the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere, on Friday, November 12 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Koleba officiating.
