Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD ARTHUR HARRINGTON July 23, 1932 - November 8, 2004 On Monday, November 8, 2004, Edward passed away at Deer Lodge Centre, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife Francisca (Nancy) daughters, Joyce (John), Carmen (David), Donna, Nora, Anita (Brad) and Tina; stepdaughter Helen; grandchildren, Amana, Dawn, Laurie-Anne, Frank, Gordon, Trevor, Darnell, Justin, David, Benita, Dylan; Jeffrey, Ferlyn-Ann; great-granddaughters, Aiesha and Rylee; as well as extended family. Edward was a Korean War Veteran and joined the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery where he served three tours of duty. Later on, he became a communications Sergeant, with the Fort Garry Horse. He earned the rank of Sergeant Major prior to retirement. Edward took classes at the University of Winnipeg in Museology to become museum curator of the Fort Garry Horse Military Museum and the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. Prayers will be said on Thursday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 12, at 2:00 p.m., also in the chapel, with viewing one hour prior. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. "Ill be forever grateful for your love and you! To a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Rest in Peace."
