Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORA AMABELLE TWOHEART (OQICHITAAKWE) May 5, 1928 - November 8, 2004 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend Dora was predeceased by her parents, Sophie and Ambrose Courchene; daughters, Sybil, Evelyn; and son Larry; brothers, Alex Courchene, John (Eva) and Alan Courchene; sisters, Mary, Martina and Caroline; granddaughter Charlene; grandsons, Adrian (Charlie Brown), Lance, Duran (Brown Eagle) great-grandson Freedom Courchene-Bruyere; son-in-law Ronald (Boyish) Swampy; step-daughter Elaine Hudson She leaves to mourn her husband J.B; children, Adolph (Katherine), Rita (Harold), Sarah, Edwin (Ardythe) of British Columbia, Mabel (Jeffery), Sally (Ron), Wallace (Rita), Darlene, Ben (Patricia), Harold, Claudette (Reinie), Stanley (Patsy) and her adopted children, Eric (Cathy) Robinson, Harry (Alvina) Gegwetch; sisters, Terry (Edgar), Nora Fontaine; brothers, George (Mary), Herman (Katherine), Robert (Catherine), Henry (Mildred) brothers-in-law, Gordon Bruyere and Norbert (Rose) Guimond; sister-in-law Margaret Courchene. Dora had 49 precious grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and the many Bingo friends she had. Dora loved her family dearly, and cherished each and every one of them. They were her heart and soul. The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for all the help they provided, as well as the staff at the Dialysis Unit in Pine Falls. Pallbearers are nephews: Barry and Kevin Courchene, grandsons: Chris and John Twoheart, Nicolas Bruyere, great-grandsons: Dwayne Twoheart, Nathan and Nolan Courchene. Honorary Pallbearers are granddaughters: Marlene and Erica Twoheart, Angela Swampy, Roxanna and Amy Courchene, Bobby and Rhiannon Bruyere, Michelle Courchene, Lyndsey, Jessie Twoheart and Shannon Sinclair. Wake services will be held at the St.Alexander Catholic Church starting Tuesday, November 9, 2004.
