EVELYN WALL (nee BENSON) June 9, 1918 - November 12, 2004 Peacefully on Friday November 12, at Charleswood Care Center, Evelyn passed away at the age of 86 years. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Kathy (Rob) Sanderson; grandchildren, Sean and Melissa of Winnipeg; sister Blanche Davidson of Lethbridge. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband John in 1996; brother Kermit; sisters, Ione Laidlaw and Bernice Gellalty. Evelyn was born and raised three miles north of Starbuck. She married John in 1955. Their only daughter Kathleen was born in 1958. They moved to Ferndale in 1960 and lived there until 1989, when they moved to Starbuck. Evelyn was involved with Ferndale Ladies Group, Sanford Legion auxiliary, Starbuck Horticultural society. She loved her flowers and garden also spent lots of time serving. The family wishes to thank all those who gave mom so many rides. A special thank you for all the staff at Cedar House, Rosewood Village and Unit 3 at Charleswood Care Centre for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 16 at Starbuck United Church. Interment will follow at the Starbuck Cemetery.
