DAVID EARL BELLAN After a lengthy illness, David Earl Bellan, beloved son of Dr. Samuel and Mrs. Marjorie Bellan passed away November 5, 2004 in Vancouver, BC. David is survived by his sister, Loralie Bellan, brother Murray Bellan and sister-in-law Robyn Zimberg, brother Jerry Bellan and sister-in-law Rhonda Hart-Bellan all of Winnipeg and his brother Phillip and sister-in-law Debra Bellan of Houston, Texas. He will be greatly missed by his American niece and nephews, Marnie, Jamey and Lane Bellan of Houston, Texas, and his Winnipeg nephews, Michael, Isaac and Joshua Bellan as well as his many friends and relatives. David was born August 15, 1958 in Winnipeg, MB. He attended his early grades at Joseph Wolensky School and received degrees in Art and Education from the University of Manitoba. He had a deep interest and love of music, played professionally and taught classical guitar at Yamaha. He moved to Vancouver to teach music in elementary school. David was adored by his young pupils for his enthusiasm and musicianship. He was a sincere, generous, kind-hearted young man, well beloved by all who were fortunate to meet him. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family in Winnipeg and Vancouver. The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent medical care given by Dr. Karon and Dr. Roger Shick of Vancouver and by the medical staff of St. Pauls Hospital in Vancouver. Funeral services were held grave-side November 9 at Rosh Pina Cemetery where David was laid to rest in the family plot. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation in Davids name to a charity of choice.
