Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES "JIM" EDWARD BROWN October 14, 1956 - November 9, 2004 Suddenly, on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, Jim died at his residence, in Winnipeg at the age of 48 years. Remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife Angele of 27 years of marriage; sons, Gerry and Joey; mother Martha; brothers, Craig, Brian and Wayne; sisters, Ann Harry and Lynne (Mike Greer) of Sooke, BC; father-in-law Gerry Desjardins; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was predeceased by his father Allan Brown in 1996; and mother-in-law Helen Desjardins in 1991. Jim was a member of the Kinsmen Club. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. His main hobby was cooking for family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 15 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles St. with Rev. Fr. Terance P. McGrath presiding. Inurnment will follow in St. Charles Parish Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Jims nieces. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Jims memory may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Winnipeg Chapter), Box 21008, 33-3900 Grant Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3R 3R2 or to the Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 or a charity of ones choice.
