RUDOLPH (RUDY) KRAUSE It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rudy, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on November 12, 2004 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Rudy will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his wife of 55 years, Ruth; his son Chris (Kellie) his daughters, Kim, Julie Bergmann (Robert) granddaughters, Andrea (Robert), Kara and Bailee; grandson Colin (Nicole) and great-granddaughter Devin. He is also survived by his brother Charles; sister Olga and brother-in-law Hank; sisters-in-law, Doris, June and Martha; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was born December 22, 1920 in the family home on Riverton Ave. in Elmwood. After his marriage in 1949, he moved to West Kildonan where he spent the remainder of his life. He considered his greatest achievement to be his children and he had many happy memories of camping and fishing trips with his family. Rudys beliefs did not include any particular religion, he had an abiding faith in the human heart. At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. It was his greatest wish that there be one last party. Bring a song and a memory to share, come lift up a cup or a glass for one last get-together at Shooters Family Golf Centre, 2731 Main St. on Monday, November 15, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Rudy would be happy if donations were made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
