RON CALVERT Peacefully, on Friday, November 12, 2004, at the Victoria General Hospital, after a courageous battle with Crohns disease, Ronald died at the age of 73 years. Remaining to cherish his memory are his sons, Gordon (Susan) and Peter (Dawn) grandchildren, Tammy, Alex and Rachel; great-grandchild Jordyn; brother Gordon (Mae) and sister Peggy (George). Ron resided in Winnipeg and had a distinguished 30 year career in the Canadian Armed Forces. His favourite pastimes were watching the Blue Jays and horse racing. In his later years, he enjoyed his trips to Petro Canada to visit the staff. In compliance with Rons wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Rons memory may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada (Winnipeg Chapter).
