MIKE YAREMCHUK On Friday, November 12, 2004 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Mike Yaremchuk aged 91 years of Selkirk, MB. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Anne; nieces, Lena (Alan) Hoban, Joan Picketti, Betty (Roger) Jacobs and Lynn (Steve) Morris. He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Peter; sister Anna Donachuk and nephew Allan. Mike was born at Narol, MB on August 27, 1913. He resided at Teulon for a few years, but lived most of his life in Gonor and the Lockport area. He owned and operated several businesses in both Lockport and Winnipeg and was later employed at MLCC for 11 years until his retirement. Prayers were said on Sunday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 15 (today) at 2:00 p.m. in the Little Britain United Church with Rev. Chris Bridgett officiating. Interment to follow in the churchyard cemetery. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and to the staff at Betel Home and Selkirk Homecare. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Little Britain United Church Fund. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
