Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADRIENNE MARY DAVIS (DELBAERE) On Thursday, November 11, 2004, at Vista Park Lodge, God called Mom home. She had celebrated her 95th birthday with family on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. Adrienne will be deeply missed by her children, Leona (Marcel) Boone, Elsie Deneweth, Richard (Linda) of Winnipeg; Geraldine (Cavan) Devlin of Edmonton; and sister, Julia Sergeant. She also leaves 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Adrienne was born in Belgium prior to the Second World War. She, along with her sister and brother, were separated from their parents who immigrated to Winnipeg just before the outbreak of war. She and her siblings immigrated to Winnipeg in 1919 where they were reunited with their parents. On November 8, 1930 she married Frank Davis after a whirlwind courtship of three months. She spent her years living in St. Boniface, never far from the place she grew up. In 1995 she moved to Vista Park Lodge where she lived very happily for the past nine years. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; her son-in-law Joe Deneweth; her sisters, Mary Simoens and Bertha in Belgium; and brother Archie Delbaere. She was also predeceased by her grandson Donald Boone who passed away last year of MS. Her family is very grateful to the staff of the Vista Park Lodge for the care they have given Adrienne during the years she lived there. A funeral mass celebrating Adriennes life will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothys Parish, 135 Forsyth Rd., St. Vital, with Rev. Fr. Ray Baudry presiding. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mom would have wished that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4th floor , 141 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0R3.
