THERESE JULIETTE FORTIER (nee GOBEIL) Peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2004 Therese Juliette Fortier, aged 80 passed away at the Concordia Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Lionel in 1997 and also her brother Albert. She leaves behind eight children, Paul, Eugenie (Kenneth), Danielle, Jeannot (Germaine), Connie, Michelle (Richard), Marc (Barb), and Leon (and special friend Pam) also 10 grandchildren, Darlene, Scott, Lynne, Richard, Justin, Julie, Joelle, Montana, Cristal and Halle; also six great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Gage, Jade, Gabrielle, Benjamin and Jonathan; brothers, Leon and Valmore. Therese was born on February 17, 1924 in St. Boniface. She loved to knit, gardening, dance, sing and be with family. Therese especially cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Cancer Society. A special thanks to Dr. Doermer, Dr. Harris, Concordia Hospital, Third Floor North and home care for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. with interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
