Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAUL LASKER Passed away on November 3, 2004 in Los Angeles at the age of 92. Born in Winnipeg on August 12, 1912. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Tillie; son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Jill Lasker; daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Guy Sax; grandchildren, Pepper (Dan) Starobin, Kasey Sax, Jodi and Zachary Lasker; great-grandchildren, Madison and Katie Starobin. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Annette Lasker, and his sister Rose Nemy, all of Winnipeg, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Lil Shapiro, in 1993. Saul will be remembered for his strength, his impish humour, his taciturn manner, and the loving and playful times he spent with all of the children who shared his journey, first his children, nieces and nephews, then his grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews, and finally his great-granddaughters. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging, 7150 Tampa Ave., Reseda, CA 91335. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 5, at Eden Memorial in Mission Hills, CA.
